Rachelle and Kyle 10-12-12 (Stephanie)

Rachelle and Kyle's wedding was such a party. Not only were Rachelle and Kyle great to work with, their families were great as well! The dance floor was packed all night long and the party kept going all the way up until the end of the night!

Their ceremony was held at Our Lady of Sarrows in Farmington and their reception was at Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield.

Fairytale Productions Wedding & Events provided videography, J.S. Photography provided photography services, Entertainment Express provided limo transportation, Westbourn Market provided the flowers, Linens and Beyond provided linens and chair covers, Event Entertainment provided the photobooth, and Platinum Mix Productions provided DJ services. The cake was provided by the Pastry Palace and it was as good as it looked!

Each table had a handmade card with either a place or something that Rachelle and Kyle (such as penguins! as you can see in the below photos) like. The card had a caption describing the place or the thing liked. They were so cute!

Although impossible to take photos of, I wanted to mention that Rachelle and Kyle and their bridal party performed a choreographed dance to Chris Brown's "Forever" following the formal dances and it as soo awesome! I was really impressed with how much work must have gone into learning the dance I know the guests all loved it!

Congratulations Rachelle and Kyle!
Thanks for letting GJE be part of your special day!

Becca and Tommy 09-29-12 (Stephanie)

Becca and Tommy were such a fun, laid-back couple to work with. Since there was quite a bit of setup to do at the reception site, my assistant and I focused mainly on the reception site and setting up. The ceremony was held at the White House Wedding Chapel in Warren and their reception was at DeCarlo's, also in Warren.

Rachel and Zach 09-15-12 (Stephanie)

Rachel and Zach had a perfect September day full of sun and just-the-right-temperature kind of weather. Their ceremony was at Royal Oak Middle School and their reception was at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market. Rachel had such a vision for the day and did an amazing job putting together all the little details such as the candle in a wine bottle centerpieces and all the vintage shelving and crates that were used in the snack stations.

The school had such gorgeous murals on the walls. Rachel and Zach met in the school back when it was the high school

Guest tables were in 4 long rows
I really wish I would have taken a before shot of the market. When GJE arrived to setup, the vendors were still cleaning up from the farmer's market that was held that morning. GJE set up everything from the tables and chairs, to the linens and place settings with silverware and plates, as well as the bar, snack, and desert stations. It all came together so well!

Popcorn and peanut snack table. The wedding had a vintage-carnival theme that I absolutely loved!

The sweet table was amazing! Everything was so good! The sweets were provided by Pinwheel Bakery in Royal Oak. Rachel provided all the adorable vintage props for the table.

 Love these cookies!

The sweets table extended into a candy buffet with carnival type candy such as dots and circus peanuts (Excuse the blurry photo, I just had to show how many amazing sweets there were!)

Guest favors were jars of Chai tea mix!
DJ Ron Sulewski and Mike Bermudez with his band both kept the dance floor packed all night long!

Other key vendors included:
Hair and makeup by Bianchi's Salon

Anita's Kitchen provided the catering and the most delicious middle eastern food I have ever had!

 Congratulations Rachel and Zach!
Thanks for letting GJE be a part of your special day!

Angie and Nate 09-01-12 (Stephanie)

Finally catching up on some much needed blogging of our recent fabulous weddings!

Angie and Nate had both their ceremony and reception at the T-Plex in Detroit. The historic T-Plex went really well with their roaring 1920's theme. The guests absolutely had a blast watching a performance and then learning how to swing dance from Paul at Swing Detroit. Most of the decor was DIY and made it seem like we had stepped back in time! Angie and Nate were great to work with and I'm so glad I was a part of their day!

 Absolutely adorable card box!

Just in case guests didn't come dressed in their best 1920's outfit, there were some necklaces and boas they could wear throughout the night to better go along with the theme. So cute!

Cupcakes from the always amazing Just Baked. They were so so good!
