Jackie and Brad 4-12-13

Jackie and Brad had a fabulous barn wedding. Their wedding was at Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor. Cobblestone is a venue that you defiantly need a DOC at. I have worked at Cobblestone and have learned a lot about the venue. Did you know at the end of the night you have to sweep, take out the trash and clean the kitchen? This isn’t something you want to be doing in your wedding dress  : )

McKibben Photography was amazing! Check out some of the pictures below:

Say their vows
It was a full barn...full of love!
 Centerpieces. Jackie put a lot of time and hard work into all her DIY projects.
 She also made all the cupcakes!
 Escort card table
 Perfect handwriting!
I 'm thankful Jackie asked me to design her wedding flowers.

When having your wedding at Cobblestone you need to make sure you have a great caterer and they did…Angelfood Catering is always a pleasure to work with.

Other key vendors included the talented ceremony violinist MackenzieLerchen and their  DJ Madman Mike Your Musical Slave.

Congrats Jackie and Brad!

Welcome Hudson : )

I'm sure you have noticed I am way behind on blogging but that is because we welcomed out 4th son, Hudson to our family on March 19th. Four sons and a full wedding season has kept me busy : )

Shauna and Brendan 1-5-13

Shauna and Brendan had an amazing wedding! Not only was it a great day for a wedding it was my birthday too : ) Shauna was wonderful to work with. Like many of my brides she was an out of state bride. I actually was interviewed by her grandparents and knew right away this family was going to be great to work with.

Their ceremony and reception were at Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing. The ceremony and reception were in the same room. After the ceremony the guests went downstairs for cocktail hour while we flipped the room for the reception.

Erin and Michael 10-20-12 (Stephanie)

Erin and Michael had a fabulous wedding (with both ceremony and reception) at the T-Plex in Detroit. They had a lot of DIY items for the day that really turned out awesome! I loved working with both Erin and Michael, they had such a great wedding day surrounded by family and friends. Photo credits to Allana at ARS Magna Studio. She was great to work with and got some amazing photos.

I loved this light installation Erin and Michael made for the ceremony/dancing room. It looked awesome for the ceremony photos and even better at night when it lit up!

Guests found their seats by finding the mason jar with their name on it and then matching the pattern on the tag with the pattern on the place-mat (which Erin made, every one, how awesome!) at each table (each table had a different patterned place-mat). Guests got to use the mason jar all night long as their drinking glass. I love this!

Desserts were various flavored cake pops and a sundae bar.
The guests loved it!

I loved all of the ceiling lights and decorations. They looked amazing when it got dark ARS MAGNA: details &emdash;
I loved the DIY centerpieces Erin made. Various bottles spray painted white were lined down the long tables and each had a single stem of different flowers and greens. Such a simple, yet very cute centerpiece. ARS MAGNA: erin and mike &emdash;
I love the history and architecture of the T-Plex
