Kristina and Eric 9-6-13

Kristina was a dream bride to work with! She was one of the most easy going brides ever  : ) Not only did GJE have the pleasure to provided coordination but I also provided flowers. Kristina and Eric had a gorgeous day for their outdoor ceremony. Both the ceremony and reception were at 42 degrees North Terrace (Renaissance Center Detroit).
Go 4 Baroque provided ceremony music. If you are still searching for the perfect ceremony musicians make sure to contract them! Go 4 Baroque is always amazing!
Their officiant was Reverend Fred Jolicoeur from We Are Gathered. He is by far one of my favorites!

Stephanie and Tyler 8-24-13

Stephanie and Tyler are by far the most laid back, chill bride and groom ever! They were so much fun to work with : ) Their wedding defiantly represented their personalities

The ceremony was at Frog Island Park . It was a gorgeous day for an outside ceremony! But…it was really windy and because of the wind the backdrop kept falling over! In the 6ish years that I have been doing this there has only been a handful of times when I’ve thought “I’m not sure this is going to come together”. After pieces of the backdrop kept breaking and falling apart I knew guests were going to start to arrive soon so we had to do something fast. I wasn’t going to let Stephanie walk down the aisle thinking “Where the heck is my backdrop?!?!” So after some modifications to the original design we made it work : ) Thank goodness!
 The ceremony:
Who knew something so simple looking could be such a pain, lol.

The reception was jsut around the corner from the ceremony in downtown Ypsilanti  at Bona Sera Café. Dinner was inside and dancing was outside in the street. What’s better than a street party?

After GJE set up the tables and decor.

Jessica and Jeffrey 8-16-13

Jessica and Jeffery had a gorgeous wedding! They had a vintage travel theme with elements of Michigan University (ex. flower colors). When you first hear the theme you might wonder exactly how it would all come together but it did perfectly!
Their ceremony was at the GrossePointe Academy Chapel which is stunning! The reception was at The Colony Club in Detroit. This is by far one of my favorite venues. I love the banquet coordinators, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is always amazing!
