Wedding Coordiantion 5-2-15

This was GJE's first Nigerian wedding (due to their careers the bride and groom asked that I not post their name or photos). This wedding was so much fun! I loved learning about their culture and customs and my oh my are there a lot! I wish I could show the clothing, it was absolutely breathtaking! Everyone was dressed amazingly! There were about 400 people! That was a lot of centerpieces to set up and clean up : )

Kevin and Natalie 4-18-2015

Natalie and Kevin were an amazing couple to work with! Their wedding was at the beautiful Lyon Oaks in Wixom and had many details that portrayed their beautiful relationship. Natalie worked in the summer on Mackinaw Island so she had fudge shipped right from the Island for the guests to enjoy as favors! On each numbered table was a photograph of Natalie and Kevin of a specific age which was such a nice personal touch for their family and friends. Natalie did an excellent job of planning an elegant and romantic reception that was also great fun for the wedding party and guests! It was a pleasure working with this great couple!

Tim and Sarah Salow 7-11-15

Sarah and Tim were such a wonderful couple to work with! The detail and organization Sarah had put together was amazing. Together their kindness and ease with everything made working with them a dream! The reception was held at their beautiful farmhouse in Stockbridge on a gorgeous and sunny Saturday afternoon. They arrived in style for their grand entrance on Tim’s tractor, with the bridal party on the hay wagon behind. Viviano Flowers provided Sarah’s beautiful bouquet, ceremony flowers and reception centerpieces. I highly recommend them! Laura O’Brien’s Sweets and Treats made Sarah and Tim’s cake which was extra special as it included a gluten free top tier for Sarah. Showerman Family Cooking took care of all of the food for the evening, and I can personally attest that it was amazing! They are a very well organized team and have wonderful food, I highly recommend them as well. Family and friends provided the cookies and treats for a late night snack. DJ Rocky with Capitol City DJ’s kept Sarah and Tim dancing the night away under the stars surrounded by their family and friends. There were lanterns that lined the tree wall and hung from the tree over the pond that made for a spectacular backdrop. Their wedding was so beautiful and I’m so lucky I was able to be a part of it!

Alan and Aliza 6-6-2015

Aliza was a wonderful bride to work with! I loved how detailed and organized she was throughout the entire process. Their wedding was held at the Ann Arbor City Club on a gorgeous June day! The ceremony was held outside in the gardens with a cocktail reception before the start of the ceremony. The flowers were all in bloom which made it a spectacular backdrop for the breathtaking bride and her groom! The reception was upstairs in their ballroom. It was an elegant and fun event for all who attended. They finished the night with a late night snack from an old fashion gelato ice cream truck! It was truly a great night! The flowers were done by Grand Jour Events!
