Vendor Spotlight: Chris Trafford from Cleara Images
I worked with Chris in September. He was the photographer for Mike and Marie’s wedding. Chris was absolutely wonderful to work with and did a fantastic job. He was nice enough to send me over some of the professional shots and of course I wanted to share them.
I love how Chris put their rings in the candy.
Not only are candy buffets a huge hit with the kids but....
adults LOVE them too!

Marie and Michael 9-19-09
Marie and Mike’s ceremony was held at St. Florians in Hamtramck. St. Florians is absolutely beautiful!
Their reception was at Crystal Gardens in Southgate. One word to describe their reception was elegant! Marie and Mike actually live in Florida so all of our communication was done via e-mail. I meet them just a couple of weeks before their wedding.
The flowers were provided by Petit Fleur Event Flower & Décor. They did a fantastic job! I loved the centerpieces.
Their reception was at Crystal Gardens in Southgate. One word to describe their reception was elegant! Marie and Mike actually live in Florida so all of our communication was done via e-mail. I meet them just a couple of weeks before their wedding.The flowers were provided by Petit Fleur Event Flower & Décor. They did a fantastic job! I loved the centerpieces. I loved that Marie and Mike had their head table on the main floor surrounded by their guests rather that at the typical head table in front of everyone.
Their wedding cake matched the décor perfectly! Their cake had a very classic yet vintage feel. The cake was from Southgate Bakery. It was beautiful and tasted great!
Marie and Mike also had a sweet table provided by Crystal Gardens. There was a table on both sides of the cake filled with fruit, tarts, and cakes and just about anything you could want! It was a great extra that the guests loved!
I am so happy I was able to provide a candy buffet for Marie, Mike and their guests! It was a huge hit. Mike is from Canada and a family member told me she has never seen such a thing over in Canada but loved the idea. There was approximately 110 pounds of candy and it was all gone by the end of the night! I placed a personalized box at every place setting. For candy buffet packages please visit here.
Music was provided by T.J. Monte Productions. The DJ kept the crowd going all night long. Photographer was provided by Aava Photography. Their photographer was amazing. I can’t wait to see the professional pictures!

Raquel and Michael 9-13-09
Raquel and Michael had their ceremony and reception at Crystal Gardens in Southgate. Raquel and Michael had all their loved ones at their ceremony. In fact all the seats were taken. Guests were also standing in the back and even pouring out the doors!
As you walked into the reception room you were greeted by a great picture of the couple. I loved the canvas that Raquel and Michael had with their engagement photo!
Raquel and Michael had very yummy favors. They were pretzel rods dipped in chocolate. Raquel’s Aunt made them and they were delicious!
There were several different centerpieces. There were tall white lilies, candles floating in red water, white hydrangeas and tall red carnations for their parent’s tables. Flowers were provided by Cleverbumble Bee Creations. Chair covers were provided by Stephanie’s Wedding Creations. I will say that the chair covers really pulled the room together. Unfortunately Stephanie didn’t receive mine nor Raquel’s messages stating that we needed 75 more chair covers so the back of the room was without chair covers
Their wedding cake was perfect! I loved all the detail especially the flowers on top. You can’t tell from looking at it but the bottom layer of the cake was actually fake! Sheet cakes were used also. This is a great way to save money. The cake was from Iversen’s Bakery.

Katie and Dan 9-5-09
Katie and Dan’s ceremony was held at the Concorde Inn located in Clinton Township. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful! I loved how although the ceremony was indoors you felt as if you were outside. I highly recommend the Concorde Inn for a beautiful and unique ceremony site.
The flowers were provided by Courtyard Flowers. Katie’s bouquet was gorgeous and I am very excited to create a painting for her. Photography was provided by Aava Photography. I am sure their pictures will be great. Their photographer didn’t miss a beat.
One of my favorite things from Katie and Dan’s wedding was their cake. Their cake was stunning. I loved the ribbon and brooch. The cake was from Chef Leslie. And of course it tasted delicious!
Music was provided by Rent-A-DJ. Kelly was amazing. She kept the dance floor packed all night long. If you are looking for a great DJ than Kelly is your girl!
Katie and Dan also had a photo booth. Rock the Booth was great to work with! If you are considering a photo booth I highly recommend Rock the Booth.

Their reception was at the Partridge Creek Banquet also located in Clinton Township. I loved Katie and Dan’s favors/escort cards. Who doesn’t like a bottle of wine! Their reception was perfect. I loved all of Katie’s DIY projects from the table numbers to the menus everything looked wonderful.
