Eric and Stacie 6-6-14 (Christine)
Eric and Stacie's wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Grecian Center in Southgate. The ceremony was held outside amongst the gorgeous grounds. It was a very hot Friday in June that turned into a perfect evening. Inside the ballroom the reception was beautiful. I loved the blue up lighting throughout the room along with their breathtaking cake. It was a pleasure to start the summer off with such a great couple.

Amanda and Aaron 7-25-14 (Stephanie)
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but the Royal Oak Farmer's Market could easily be one of my favorite venues. Every wedding I coordinate there is completely different than the ones before. That is exactly what I love about it, the fact that it can be transformed a million different ways, to fit anyone's tastes and style. This combined with the fact that the staff is always super friendly and will literally bend over backwards for their clients and vendors, really places it high on my list. Amanda and Aaron were referred to me from the staff at the market and I really loved working with them. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the market.
The market when we arrived, before setup:
After GJE worked our magic :)
The ceremony was held on one end of the market, as seen above
Guest tables were setup on the other end. Wondering where the chairs are? They were used for the ceremony and moved to the guest tables after by myself and my wonderful staff.
Centerpieces were the stump and vases below as well as two small vases of flowers on either ends of the table
These centerpieces are absolutely perfect!
Wedding wands with bells attached to ring/wave as the newly married couple walk back down the aisle together
All of these amazing wooden signs you are seeing in the background and on the tables? Yeah, Amanda's dad is a-mazing and literally hand crafted all of them...in the garage...like it's no big deal...I was blown away!
The dessert table to end all dessert tables, literally
I believe Amanda's aunt put together this suitcase cardbox. It is soo not fair that one family contains all this talent!
As guests walked into the market, they saw this. Another one of Amanda's dad's amazing creations. I looove it!
They even made their own hashtag! Is this not the best idea!?
There was also a DIY photo frame booth (Oddly, very very similar to the booth that GJE used to offer!) for guests to pose behind and corn hole for guests to play throughout the night. Again, both DIY items handcrafted by Amanda' dad. There was also a hot dog cart setup by the couple's friends on the patio outside the market at the end of the night. The guests absolutely loved it!
Hair and makeup by Bianchi's Salon. Floribunda provided the florals. Amoris Market provided wine and liquor and were super helpful and accommodating. Vince Rizzo provided catering services. Nick Urb provided ceremony music. Ultimate Entertainment provided DJ services. Amy Rice provided photography.
Congratulations Amanda and Aaron. Your wedding was a blast! Thanks for having GJE be part of your special day!

Michelle and Stephen 6-21-14 (Stephanie)
Michelle and Stephen's ceremony was held at the Metropolitan United Methodist Church and their reception was at the Rattlesnake Club. Although the Rattlesnake club is a gorgeous venue, the couple originally were supposed to have their reception at the nearby Robert's Riverwalk Hotel. Tragically part of the hotel caught fire and due to the damage caused by the fire they had to find an alternate venue. This situation is almost somewhere out of a wedding nightmare. Not only was their wedding date in June (one of the most popular months for weddings), their hearts were set on having it in the city of Detroit, as well as at the time the fire occurred, their wedding was only a matter of months away. By some sort of fate, the Rattlesnake club had a cancellation and the couple was able to secure a venue not far from their original venue location and in the city that they both love! If that isn't fate, I don't know what is!
When you look up, this is what you see!
Michelle handmaid each centerpiece. Each side was a frame with a photo of either Michelle or Stephen at various ages. So cute!
Playing card favors
I love, love, love this vintage, Detroit themed card box
Thrifty Florist provided florals. Lavdas Limousine provided limo transportation. Sweet Dreams provided the cake. Their DJ was Paul from Sunshine Entertainment. Infinity Photobooth provided the photobooth. Photography from Faith Photography.
Congratulations Michelle and Stephen. Thanks for making GJE a part of your special day!
Adrianne and Mike 6-7-14 (Stephanie)
Adrianne and Mike had a great wedding. The day was gorgeous for their outside ceremony, their wedding had all the musts (photobooth, late night snack, modern furniture to accent the room, etc.), and their guests had so much fun that the party did not quit until the very end. Their ceremony and reception was held at Twin Lakes Golf and Swim Club in Oakland Township. The venue has a patio with a gazebo that is perfect for outdoor ceremonies that overlooks a wooded pond.
Videography was provided by Reel Time Video. DSP Photographie provided photography. Linen Hero provided the furniture rentals, linens, and up-lighting. Viviano's provided the florals. Mannino's Bakery provided the oh so delicious cake. Lawton Lunce kept the party dancing. Shutterbooth provided the photobooth. Go 4 Baroque provided the ceremony music. Royal Transportation provided limo transportation. Their ceremony officiant was Pastor Chris Horvath.
Congratulations Adrianne and Mike. Thanks for letting GJE be part of your day!
I really love how Adrianne and Mike made the venue personalized to their event by adding little decorations such as these engagement photos on the coffee tables in the lobby
This picture isn't the greatest, I'll admit, but it does show the awesome furniture that Adrianne and Mike rented to accent their venue, such as these sofas. Also notice the coffee table in between them with the floral vase. Love it!
Congratulations Adrianne and Mike. Thanks for letting GJE be part of your day!
