Please Vote!

I know this is a stretch but help me get 250 votes. I only have 4 days!

My dream of owning my own venue could be years closer than I ever expected with a $250,000 grant!

Imagine a piece of property with mature trees, wild flowers and fields of green grass. I would love to have room for my bride and grooms to have an outdoor garden ceremony with their reception just across the property under a big white tent….with paper lanterns and twinkling lights hanging from the tent with the bride and groom along with all their guests dancing and creating life long memories

Carrie and Adam 5-27-12 (Stephanie)

I loved working with Carrie and Adam! They live in Chicago, so we did all of our communication through the phone or e-mail and Carrie and I met for the first time about a week before their wedding. This definitely didn't hinder planning at all, I always tell my long distance brides that there is so much that can be done via e-mail that not being in Michigan isn't even a problem!

Carrie and Adam were married at St. Peter and Paul Jesuit Church in Detroit and had their reception at the gorgeous Colony Club in Detroit. I focused on setting up for the reception as very little was being setup at the church.
Carrie and Adam integrated family wedding photos on their escort card and gift tables. I love old photos and love when family members can be memorialized this way

Guests were directed to their seats with escort cards that had a little old key charm attached

Cake was provided by It's A Matter Of Taste. The cake was so gorgeously decorated and tasted as good as it looks! The staff at It's A Matter Of Taste were so friendly and were terrific to work with.

The candy buffet turned out so cute! The table was decorated with photos of Carrie and Adam as children eating sweets. The guests loved it!

Becky and Craig 6-2-12 (Stephanie)

Becky and Craig had such a unique wedding that was filled with their personalities. I loved their style and the location and they were so easy to work with!
They had both their ceremony and reception at the Piquette Model T factory, or T-Plex, in Detroit. It is an old Model T factory that was saved from demolition and is now a museum for Model T collectors. All of the architecture is original and the building is in great shape for it's age. It's such a unique location and I loved how Becky and Craig transformed it to fit their personal style.

The officiant was Wayne Byrum. He was great to work with and made sure that he customized Becky and Craig's ceremony to their exact liking.

Becky and Craig provided all linens and spent the days leading up to the wedding decorating the T-Plex. I am so in love with how it turned out. The villa style hanging lights looked so awesome once it got dark.

Carmen and Josh 5-26-12 (Stephanie)

Carmen and Josh had the perfect day for a wedding. It was sunny and warm and just about everything a bride could wish for, weather wise. They had their ceremony and reception at Laurel Manor in Livonia. They were so laid back and great to work with!

Carmen and Josh were married at the Laurel Manor chapel. The new chapel is on the second floor of Laurel Manor instead of the separate building across the parking lot. I'm not sure why they changed chapel locations, but I think I liked the more intimate feel of the old one better. Carmen did a great job at adding personal touches to the chapel. The blue flowers on the arch were made at her bridal shower and the white lights were added to make it more romantic.

Cake was provided by Cakes by Stephanie

Josh is a big Lego fan so Carmen surprised him with this cute Lego cake topper to display by the cake!

I loved the memorial table!
